1 The Best Years of Our Lives
Till the End of Time, 1946, чей сценарий до странности близок Лучшим годам (по роману Найвена Буша «Они мечтают о доме», They Dream of Home). (Edward Dmytryk, It's a Hell of Life But Not a Bad Living, Times Books, New York, 1978).***--- Херолд Расселл (1914–2002) был ветераном Второй мировой и на самом деле лишился обеих рук в результате несчастного случая. Авторская энциклопедия фильмов Жака Лурселля > The Best Years of Our Lives

2 The Lost Weekend
Axel Madsen, Billy Wilder, Cinema One, 1969). The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, 1970). (John Gassner and Dudley Nichols, The Best Film Plays of 1945, New York, Crown, 1946).

(Gavin Lambert, On Cukor, G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York, 1972 и W.H. 5 The Grapes of Wrath
How Green Was My Valley), Авторская энциклопедия фильмов Жака Лурселля > The Grapes of Wrath

6 All Quiet on the Western Front
Sam Thomas, Crown Publishers, New York. 1987). Авторская энциклопедия фильмов Жака Лурселля > All Quiet on the Western Front
